A beautiful vase made in 1964 by one of the greatest artists of glass, in Finland and elsewhere. Helena (Hellín) Tynell graduated from the University of Art and Design in 1943 and in 1948 worked for Riihimäen Lasi (Riihimäki), then in Europe, especially Germany. Works of art made by that designer of exception are collected with fervor, collectors recognition of their aesthetic achievement, even if their prices are quite high.

Vase proposed for sale, with superb color - emerald green, very rare at crystal and glass objects - is in the famous series "Aurinkopullo" or "Solar / Sun Bottle" - series that made  Helena Tynell  famous. Interestingly, almost everything I found on the Web, in this series, but not that color, are sold at prices ranging from parts 80 and 100 EURO!
